A philosopher of biology and expert in the theory of evolution, I have the honour of filling the first permanent teaching post for Philosophy of Biological Sciences in Italy. I am on the Ethics Committee and the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, a member of the Board of the Italian Institute of Anthropology, and since 2018 I have been the director of the web magazine of the University of Padua, Il Bo LIVE, and the magazine Natura Viva.
